From Blogs to Movies

Greetings everyone.

I have been working hard on learning to make movies, and uploading them to YouTube. My first attempt was ok, but I’m getting better as I go. The first movie is here and titled Jesus Is God. The second one is here  Not Ashamed. I just finished part 1 of a two part movie entitled Hallelujah and the Tetragrammaton: Part I. As it takes a while to make these, you will see a drop in blogs (not that I have been active lately - new twins and all). I will probably be presenting more movies than writing blogs now. At least there is music you can listen to while reading. I may still post a blog or two here and there, or just post here letting people know a new "movie" is out.

In love and in His service,

Minister of the New Covenant

Christmas - Part II

I Corinthians 10:14, "Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry"

Idolatry: The worship of a physical object as a god: immoderate (exceeding just, usual, or suitable bounds) attachment or devotion to something. - Merriam Webster

Idolatry: The worship of idols; extreme admiration, love, or reverence for something or someone:

Origin - Middle English: from Old French idolatrie, based on Greek eidōlolatreia, from eidōlon (see idol) + -latreia 'worship' – Oxford Dictionary

Eidōlolatria - 1) the worship of false gods, idolatry

a) of the formal sacrificial feats held in honour of false gods

b) of avarice, as a worship of Mammon

2) in the plural, the vices springing from idolatry and peculiar to it

Strong’s G1495

Eidōlolatria or ( -eia)(corresponds with Strong’s G1495). Whence Eng., “idolatry” (from eidolon, and Latreia, “service”), is found in I Cor 10:14; Gal 5:20, Col 3:5; and in the plural, in I Peter 4:3. Heathen sacrifices were sacrificed to demons, I Cor 10:19; there was a dire reality in the cup and table of demons and in the involved communion with demons. In Rom 1”22-25, “idolatry” the sin of the mind against God (Eph 2:3) and immorality, sins of the flesh, are associate, and are traced to lack of the acknowledgement of God and of gratitude to Him. An “idolater” is a slave to the depraved ideas his idols represent, Gal 4:8-9; and thereby, to divers lusts, Titus 3:3. – Vine’s Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words (Vine, Unger, White).

Why all this? I want to point out a few things. Idolatry is not just simply worshipping someone or something other than God, i.e., avarice (greed, materialism, etc.) is considered idolatry (can’t have two masters…). Now, I’m going to take you back to pagan “holy days”, and since Christmas is just around the corner, readdress this “holy day”; yet this would also apply to Easter and Halloween (All Saint’s Day) just as well.

What is interesting is we find that idolatry isn’t, again, just worship, it’s also “the vices springing from idolatry and peculiar to it,” and “An idolater is a slave to the depraved ideas his idol represents.” What does this mean? Christmas, when you celebrate it, is doing that exact thing, you are using pagan “holy days”, pagan ritualistic items, vices that spring from the idolatrous “holy days” and are peculiar to those “holy days”. People have become “salves” to these “holy days” and the icons which represent them. The Christmas tree – pagan, Holly – pagan, Yule – pagan, Mistletoe – pagan, all pagan in origin, not one iota of Christmas has anything to do with Jesus, EXCEPT, the RCC brought in this pagan “holy day”, called it a “mass” (Christ’s Mass, which is actually the celebration of death, not life) and now we see what it has become. The running theme with Christians who celebrate Christmas (or Halloween and Easter) is, “we don’t worship those things which the pagans do, we make it what we want it to be.” Sorry folks, it is what it is. I’m revisiting this because I am now seeing Apostolics posting about the “holidays” and using pictures of Santa or some other pagan item as their profile picture.

Tell me you don’t worship the tree, Santa Clause, you don’t use mistletoe, Yule or holly as the pagans did, yet does it matter? No, because you are using the items which the pagans used in their idolatrous “holy days”, things peculiar to paganism, and not of God. Is this pleasing to God? There is more than enough Scripture to show we should not indulge in these pagan “holy days”; these are traditions of men and not of God (Colossians 2:8). We are not to be judged by our celebrations of “holy days”, meaning we do not observe them and it doesn’t matter what men say (Colossians 2:16). We are not to be idolatrous in any way (I Cor 10:14, Gal 5:20).

I pray this again helps people realize why Christians have no place celebrating pagan “holy days” made “Christian” by the RCC and now snaked its way into the church. This is not pleasing to God. Don’t believe me, look up the origins of Christmas, Easter, Halloween.  Read you bible.

All we do we are to do in the name of Jesus. Jesus, the apostles, the church did not celebrate these holidays. The only holiday we find mention of and Paul does tell us to keep is the Passover, and not the Passover of Judaism, the Passover which Jesus and the apostles celebrated (the last supper and the washing of feet), Messianic Judaism! Biblically you cannot find any Christian celebrating these holidays. Historically these are pagan holy days and idolatrous.

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Be encouraged,
Minister of the New Covenant

Christmas - Part I

Colossians 2:8, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

The "holidays" are just around the corner and as I feel strongly about not celebrating manmade "holy days", I thought I would post a couple of thoughts about this and other "holy days".

First I would like to look at when was Christ Born. Luke gives a time line which if you follow you can see Jesus was born in the late summer, but there is an even easier way to surmise His birth. Most historians agree Jesus was born sometime, in accordance with our modern day calendar, in September, approximately six months after Passover. To further this proof, it was a tradition among the Jews to send their sheep out to the fields about the Passover, and bring them home at the first rain. As Passover occurred in the spring, and the first rain began early in the month of Marchesvan, which coincides with our modern day calendar months of October and November, we realize the sheep were kept out during the whole of the summer, and a part of Autumn (Fall). Since the shepherds had not yet brought their flocks in, we can only draw the one conclusion, Jesus was born in mid to late summer, no later than September.

Christmas falls under idolatry. The customs came from worship of idols. They were mixed into the birth of the story of Jesus. Jesus is then mixed with idolatries. We already have commandment that there is to be no other God. And we also have commandment not to be yoked with idols (II Corinthians 6:16, I John 5:21). We believe in the birth of Jesus our God. His birth records no celebrations of idols. The following will prove this.

Historical facts along with Biblical facts all point to “Christmas” being in existence for a long time, pre-dating Christ (no it wasn’t called Christmas – yet). From the prophetic writings of Jeremiah; Jeremiah 10:3-4, “For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.” Notice the word “customs”, synonymous with traditions, of people (men), to which I point again back to what Paul says in Colossians 2:8. So we see there was a pagan tradition already in existence for hundreds of years prior to the birth of Jesus Messiah where they decorated trees just as people do today for “Christmas.”

The date of 25 December is a man-made date (in as much as it being Jesus Messiah’s birth date). Here is a short list of other celebrations on and around 25 December, either before Jesus Messiah, or before some people even knew of Him. In Rome, the Winter Solstice was celebrated many years before the birth of Jesus. In ancient Babylon, the feast of the Son of Isis (Goddess of Nature) was celebrated on December 25. Raucous partying, gluttonous eating and drinking, and gift-giving were traditions of this feast. In Roman, they called their winter holiday Saturnalia, honoring Saturn, the God of Agriculture. In January, they observed the Kalends of January, which represented the triumph of life over death. This whole season was called Dies Natalis Invicti Solis, the Birthday of the Unconquered Sun. The festival season was marked by much merrymaking. In northern Europe, many other traditions that we now consider part of Christian worship were begun long before the participants had ever heard of Christ. The pagans of northern Europe celebrated their own winter solstice, known as Yule. Yule was symbolic of the pagan Sun God, Mithras, being born, and was observed on the shortest day of the year (Dec 21st). As the Sun God grew and matured, the days became longer and warmer. It was customary to light a candle to encourage Mithras, and the sun, to reappear next year. Huge Yule logs were burned in honor of the sun. The word Yule itself means “wheel,” the wheel being a pagan symbol for the sun. Mistletoe was considered a sacred plant, and the custom of kissing under the mistletoe began as a fertility ritual. Hollyberries were thought to be a food of the gods.

The tree is the one symbol that unites almost all the northern European winter solstices. Live evergreen trees were often brought into homes during the harsh winters as a reminder to inhabitants that soon their crops would grow again. Evergreen boughs were sometimes carried as totems of good luck and were often present at weddings, representing fertility. The Druids (witchcraft) used the tree as a religious symbol, holding their sacred ceremonies while surrounding and worshipping huge trees.

In 350, Pope Julius I declared that Christ’s birth would be celebrated on December 25. There is little doubt that he was trying to make it as painless as possible for pagan Romans (who remained a majority at that time) to convert to Christianity. The new religion went down a bit easier, knowing that their feasts would not be taken away from them.

Christmas (Christ’s Mass) as we know it today, most historians agree, began in Germany. The earliest record of an evergreen being decorated in a Christian celebration was in 1521 in the Alsace region of Germany. A prominent Lutheran minister of the day cried blasphemy: “Better that they should look to the true tree of life, Christ.” At least he had some truth!

So This then is a man-made tradition which Paul clearly warns us against again in Colossians 2:8. Now, the actual Christmas which is celebrated in England and the US (and now mostly the world over) has only been around since the 1800s. In England, and hence the US, and other countries following suit, borrowed the tradition from Germany (which we read about earlier being the first to celebrate Christ’s Mass. Queen Victoria’s family, of England, was the first to bring a Christmas tree into her palace; prior to this, no one West of Germany had a tree or celebrated Christmas as it is now. Queen Victoria, when she became Queen, popularized Christmas in England, possibly because she was married a German Prince, who probably brought the German tradition with him and talked his wife into celebrating it. Gifts were not really exchanged at first, only for the children, and then as time went on, people were buying gifts for each other and now it’s the huge money making holiday. What is Christmas really about now, in this present age? Now it’s all about the money. As well, as endearing as he may seem, who is this Santa Clause, Father Christmas, Chris Cringle, etc., but a legend, a myth. Do we partake in mythology and legends? No, we do not. Perpetuating a being that has supposedly been in existence for who knows how long, who doesn’t die (is immortal), and whom children idolize and worship, is this not wrong? We only worship God, is this mythical figure worthy of praise and worship?

I find the main theme of Christmas today though, is how much can I, the consumer, spend, what am "I" going to get and how much can I, the retailer, make (avarice!). People go into thousands of dollars in debt for this holiday, and companies make billions of dollars off people. The root of all evil is the love of money, is it not? I Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

One can rationalize all they want about anything. I could rationalize Christmas and make it for me a time to especially thank God for coming in the flesh…but wait, is that not what we are to do daily (Psalm 72:15)? Christmas isn’t anything more than another day. It’s not holy, it’s not sacred, Jesus nor the apostles ordained or celebrated it. It’s manmade, it’s the tradition of men, and not of God. We find nothing in the Scriptures to support the celebrating of any holidays such as Christmas, not one apostle speaks of this, nor does any Scripture. I pray, again, this has helped you understand why we should not celebrate pagan holidays such as Christmas.
Be encouraged!

A Short on Halloween

Soon it will be Halloween. Is Halloween just some fun "holiday"? First, let us define holiday. Holiday derives from two words, holy and day (Etymology: Middle English, from Old English hāligdæg, from hālig holy + dæg day): a day set aside for special religious observance. Therefore, the word holiday, the meaning of which has changed over time, was originally set aside in observance of holy days. What then is Halloween? Is Halloween a Holy Day? In no way, shape or form is Halloween a holy day.

Halloween can be traced back to Rome (Pre-RCC), in the religious practices of the Romans. It also has to do with the Druids, and other pagan religions. The Romans worshiped various gods (polytheistic) and on October 31, a special feast was held in honor of Pomona, goddess of the fruit trees. Halloween though is more closely related to the Druidic holy day of Samhain. The Druids are an ancient order of Celtic priests in Britain (who are polytheistic), who celebrate the end of Summer (the lighter days) turning into Autumn (the darker days). During this time they believe the divide between the living and the dead is very thin, and people can actually make contact with the dead. This also was a celebration honoring Samhain. Samhain is the Celtic god of the dead. Samhain (the celebration not the “god”) was also called the Féile Moingfhinne (meaning "festival of Mongfhionn"). According to Cormac's Glossary, Mongfhionn was a goddess the pagan Irish worshipped on Samhain. Moingfhinne is said to have killed with poison in an attempt to have the kingdom for her sons. She drank the poison herself, died and became their goddess of sorcery. The Roman Catholic Church (RCC) took these holy days and integrated them into their church, and instituted a "religious" holy day, All Saints Day, when people would go out and try to appease the dead.

Do I really have to remind anyone witchcraft, which includes a plethora of practices from the Ouija Board, astrology, tarot card reading, so called psychics to Voodoo and Wicca…is something which Paul clearly states those who practice this cannot enter into the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). You may think it just a “fun” holiday, and as with Christmas and Easter, you can try and justify it all you want, but it is not a holy day instituted by Jesus Messiah and was never practiced by Jesus or the apostles, and I can tell you for a fact they did not nor would they have done so (the Roman practice of celebrating Pomona was already in existence). Do you then really need to ask why I don’t celebrate Halloween, or why anyone shouldn’t? Is it really just harmless fun of dressing up and scaring people, trick or treating, etc.? The truth is it’s a holy day for pagan, polytheistic religions who, to this day still actually celebrate Samhain as a holy day. No rationalization in the world makes it right. If you celebrate it, you are perpetuating a day that is not of the Lord, but of the pagan god of the undead, a pagan goddess of sorcery, and other ancient roman gods and goddesses, and a false practice instituted by the RCC, All Saints Day.

Everywhere you look you can find differing versions of where Halloween came from, but its roots all remain the same, beginning deep in pagan polytheistic religions celebrating and worshipping their pagan gods. What does the LORD say about this? God makes known, very clearly, how He feels about this, in the First Commandment: Exodus 20:1-6, "And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments." While we are not under the law, it is written upon our hearts and we know we are not to worship or idolize anyone or anything but Jesus Messiah. Jesus gave us a few commandments, and the greatest of these is to the fact there is only one God, and we are to love Him with all our heart, soul and mind (Matthew 22:37). For those of you who celebrate Halloween please consider the facts and if you have children contemplate what you are teaching them.

Jesus bless you!!!

The End is Coming – Part II

Many a false doctrine is floating about in the churches on the second coming of Jesus Messiah. Some believe it has already happened…? Some believe Jesus will come before the Great Tribulation, Dispensationalists and Rapture theory – pre-trib believers. There are those who believe Jesus will come during the tribulation, mid-trib rapture, and then there are those who know what the Scriptures show clearly; Jesus will not come until after the tribulation of those days. Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 clearly define when Jesus will be coming, with the very words of Jesus Messiah Himself. Yet not only Jesus, whom we should completely trust in, states His coming is after the tribulation. Peter and Paul also taught this, I will show this later.

I have nothing to prove here. What I am doing is showing truth, not proving it; it’s already been proven because Jesus spoke the words Himself. The “why” for this blog is because I, as many others, want everyone to know truth and the very fact this is a salvational issue which many will say it is not. They will say things such as, “It doesn’t matter, it’s not a salvational issue and as long as we know Jesus is coming does it really matter?” Yes it does, and I will show why it matters as well.

First let’s take a look at what Jesus says about His second coming.

     1. Matthew 24:29-20, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”

In Chapter 24 of the gospel of Matthew we see Jesus talking about the end times. He shows us the signs we should be looking for; “…the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken…” Those who are keeping watch will know the signs of the coming of Jesus Messiah. It will not be so much a surprise for those of us who know the signs and keep watch. Who then will it be a surprise for? Those who don’t know the signs, or aren’t keeping watch, these will not be ready at the Second Coming of Jesus Messiah; I will cover this a little more later.

     2. Mark 13:24-26, “But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.”

Here we have Mark’s version of the exact same teachings of Jesus Messiah, “…the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in haven shall be shaken.” Sound familiar? Almost word for word from the gospel of Matthew. Again, signs we should and will know which usher in the second coming of Jesus Messiah.

     3. Luke 21:25-27, “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.”

Luke of course has a little different wording. We know Luke wasn’t actually there and his gospel is a collection from eye witnesses of Jesus' ministry.  Yet in his gospel, the wording has the same meaning as Matthew and Mark, leaving no room for any other interpretation, God's is not contradictory or confusing.

After reading these 3 chapters in 3 separate gospels, one can only come to one conclusion; the time setting in which Jesus is speaking is after the great tribulation. “Immediately after the tribulation…”, “…after that tribulation…”, “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon and in the stars; … and then shall they see the Son of man coming…” Matthew, Mark, Luke.

Now let’s take a look at what Paul says;

II Thessalonians 2:8-10
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 EVEN HIM, WHOSE COMING IS AFTER THE WORKING OF SATAN WITH ALL POWER AND SIGNS AND LYING WONDERS,
10 AND WITH ALL DECEIVABLENESS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IN THEM THAT PERISH; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

If we take a look at the book of Revelation we see the Antichrist will be able to do great signs and wonders, even call down fire from the very heavens. Paul states here Jesus will come after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. Revelation 13:12-14, “And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.” Paul caught a glimpse of the end days and shared it with us, stating Jesus will not come until after the Antichrist. This would obviously point to the fact we, or the elect, will still be here when the Antichrist is here.

What did Peter say about this?

Acts 2:17-20
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 THE SUN SHALL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS, AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THE GREAT AND NOTABLE DAY OF THE LORD COME:

Again, the signs, “The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:” These are the signs which Jesus taught would come before He came. These signs are after the tribulation. Interestingly Luke records all that which will happen before the signs which herald Jesus’ coming:

Luke 21:7-23
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

Many will tell you God would never let us go through such a horrible tribulation, or we are not appointed to God’s wrath. This is not God’s wrath, the tribulation is Satan’s last stand, his wrath, because he knows soon his end shall come. How be it we have suffered tribulation since day one, yet people do not recognize this? All but one apostle was killed, Peter crucified upside-down. Steven was stoned to death for preaching the gospel of Jesus Messiah. Christians were hunted and killed by the Jews, Paul being one of the chief Pharisees who actually did this before his conversion. How blind are people to the facts? Luke plainly show Jesus saying we will go through this tribulation, time of war, famines, pestilences. We will be taken and persecuted and put into prisons because of our faith in Jesus Messiah. Our own families will betray us and have us put to death. This is us people, the elect, the Acts 2:38 blood bought saints will be here; there is no doubt, through the great tribulation.

I am not going to reinvent the wheel here and I don’t feel the need to rewrite what has already been written. I have linked Bro David’s site previously, contained therein is much more information on the “rapture”, so again I implore you to go and look at Bro David Harp’s writings; http://thetruenameofjesus.com/. As well I am sure many of you have questions the likes of, “what about this verse and that verse”, here is a question and answer page written by Pastor K. Kirkland of Valdez Apostolic Church; http://www.endtime-truth.com/articles9.html#24. Very enlightening and answers most if not all of your questions about the “rapture – pre-trib” proof verses.

Lastly, I stated earlier I would show this to be a salvational issue, and it is. The Antichrist, in as much as those who are waiting for Jesus to come before the Great Tribulation, and all those who don’t believe in truth, will see the Antichrist come with great signs and wonders, again even calling down fire from heaven itself, calling himself the “Christ”. II Thessalonians 2:8-10, “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” If you don’t understand the words of Jesus, Peter, Paul and John…will the Antichrist fool you?

Be encouraged.

To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

The End is Coming - Part I

Lately I am seeing a lot of very odd doctrine floating around. In a recent discussion someone told me he is an Apostolic, who believes in the Dispensation theory, but knows the “rapture” is not until after the tribulation, and the we, the blood bought, Acts 2:38 “saints” will be returning with Jesus at His second coming. Wow, how confusing is that?

John Nelson Darby and his “Brethren Movement” and Clarence Larkin, two Trinitarians who after 1800 years of no such “Dispensationalist Theory” ever existed, were given a new revelation by God about how He deals with His people and how the end times will be. I don’t think so. Many have twisted this false doctrine, or stripped it down to just a pre-trib “rapture”, and now for the first time I see someone who says post-trib with those who are blood bought, Acts 2:38 “saints” (I have heard of this for pre-trib, never post-trib). Those who state Jesus comes with us, the elect, the saints, those who were blood bought, with Him, do not understand the meaning of “saints” when taken in context with the rest of Scripture, the following demonstrates this:

1. The word used in Zechariah and Jude (the Hebrew and the Greek have almost the exact same meanings) are ascribed "holy ones or angles" as well as saints. In Vines Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words (Vine, Unger and White), "hagios" as used in Jude 14 is ascribed the meaning of "holy ones". Strong’s (40) –"hagios"; sacred (phys. Pure, mor. blameless or religious, cer. Consecrated): - holy, saints, Holy One, misc., holy one, holy thing. Mark 8:38 uses "hagios" to refer to angels. For the Hebrew word, "qadowsh", Gesenius’ Lexicon states; (2) as a plural, holy ones, i.e. – (a) angles, especially in the later writers, Dan, Job, Zec, Ps, and perhaps Deu 33:3. Strong’s (6918) – "qadowsh"; sacred (cerem. or mor.); (as a noun) God (by eminence), an angel, a saint, a "sanctuary". I do not disagree the word saints is used, I disagree on the meaning of saints, to whom the word saints is ascribed, as per the above.

2. Statement: “All the saints will come with Jesus. These saints are the blood bought saints of Jesus Christ!” First, I have explained the meaning of “saints”, so yes; all the angels (saints) come with Jesus (see above). As well, look at the wording, how would it be if we were already with Jesus, that we would come with Him to collect ourselves?

3. Statement: “Zechariah or Jude doesn’t use the word dead, I conclude we have not died and are in heaven and we are the saints spoken of whom return with Jesus.” In I Thessalonians Paul does speak of the dead, which are asleep. Angels (saints) are not dead, nor are they asleep, and again, are ascribed the title “saints”.

4. Fact: Jesus never says he will return with blood bought, Acts 2:38 “saints”. Fact: Jesus does say He will return with His holy angels (“saints”). Mark 8:38, uses "hagios" for holy angels; Mark 8:38, "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, WHEN HE COMETH IN THE GLORY OF HIS FATHER WITH THE HOLY ANGELS." Jesus himself confirming when He returns, he returns with His holy angels, and again the word "hagios" is used for holy angels, the same word used for "saints".

5. Statement: “We will be ‘caught up’ which is synonymous with ‘rapture’!” I can’t and won’t argue this. Paul says we will be caught up; it’s Scriptural fact; yet take a look at the whole, and not just the part.

I Thessalonians 4:15-17
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are ALIVE AND REMAIN UNTO THE COMING OF THE LORD SHALL NOT PREVENT THEM WHICH ARE ASLEEP.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: AND THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE FIRST:
17 THEN WE WHICH ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM IN THE CLOUDS, TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

I have shown when taken in context with other Scripture which uses the exact same word, "saints" doesn’t always mean Acts 2:38 blood bought "saints". I have shown where Jesus states He comes with His holy angels upon His return, and I have shown the dead in Christ, who being in the earth, will be taken first to meet Jesus and then the living who remain will be taken up, all with Scripture and not of my own interpretation. Do you want to follow some doctrine that was made up 1800 years after Jesus by Trinitarians, or do you want to follow the word of God and the doctrine of the apostles? For me and my house, we will follow the word of God and the doctrine first taught by Jesus Messiah and the apostles. *NEXT* The second coming is not pre-tribulation as proofed by Scripture (The End is Coming – Part II).

Not Really a Blog - Per Se

I have started about a dozen or so new blogs lately, but I don't think I need to reinvent the wheel. The things laid upon my heart recently have been taught and preached for decades by my pastor, and his blog (linked below) is a great place to learn about truth. The same goes for the other blog I linked, this brother is showing, again, truth and does so with no thought for what men will say. We know many will argue the truth, for they have not the truth, but words and teachings of men. Many doctrines have infiltrated Apostolic and “Oneness” churches over the centuries, and most likely even your church, yes yours, have been deceived in to believing that which is not in Scripture. Within these cyber pages you can and will find the truth! This won't stop me from writing, no, but for all those who have ever stopped by here or follow me, publicly or privately, I implore you to visit the blogs of these great men of God. Things you will find; the "Rapture" theory debunked (along with Dispensationalism), the truth about God's name and the Tetragrammaton (Yahweh/Jehovah), the truth about hallelujah/alleluia praise and much, much more.

II Timothy 4:2-4, "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." Let us not have itching ears, let us not turn from truth for fables, and let us keep our ears tuned into truth!

Again, these men have insight to things you probably never even thought about. They stand for truth, and will not back down, nor try to please men, for they are true servants of Jesus Messiah. I pray you read these blogs and find truth. Everyday pray for truth, with all your heart, soul and mind; for if you ask, you shall receive.
